Christmas

We went to Trent's Parents for Christmas Eve for lots of games, food, and a pageant. Izabella was an angle and Carson was the Star. Gpa Dennis told a story and throughout it we would sing different Christmas songs. Both Izabella and Carson did a wonderful job!

Here are mother and daughter as they prepare to learn to play the harmonica - thanks Pandreas!

Within 1 hour they were a couple of pros. Mary had a Little Lamb has never been orchestrated in such a way. The strain in Izabella's eyes are a sign of her killer committment.

Carson got a little car. He loves the horn and to open and close the door.

Despite the look on his face he also loves this horse. It makes a trotting sound along with horse noises (I say "horse noises" because I dont' think I'd spell Neigh correctly) and moves its head. Carson mimics the sound of the horse and does very well sitting on it.

For years Izabella has asked for a jeep. Considering these are for ages 3-7 and she is turning 8 we realized we had to do it this year or she would never have the chance. This bad boy will hit 5 mph and carry 170 lbs - needless to say Dad took it for a spin. Also, we didn't let Santa take credit for this one! They both love it.

It seems like it has been snowing for months. Carson was freezing cold but didn't want to come inside. They have so much fun in the snow.

Cason wasn't so sure about this. At the moment I think the only thing Carson was wishing for was a taser gun and antibacterial soap.

Izabella was very sweet and told Santa she wanted a doll - which she got. We let "Him" take credit for that one. She still enjoys the magic of Christmas.

Santa offered Rachel $20 to sit on his lap - COME ON RACHEY, IT'S $20! Think of the family!
