Our fourth of July was SWELL!Izabella spares no expense on dressing the part! The 9am Centerville Parade was loads of fun with Candy Flying from every direction, floats, and lots of music! Carson LOVED the drums and turned (this Parade is better than Christmas--if he could talk!) into a maniac when the bands or backpipes marched by. Izabella held her ground with grabbing the candy, and I had to take a picture of the "Princess Float" which Izabella would have LOVED if she had been younger. WHY OH WHY DO THEY GROW UP??? We did make it back in time for Izabella to walk in the front of the Kaysville Parade, which has been her "dream" apparently. Yet after, she did admit that she would only do it again if she were on an actual float and not walking the whole stinkin' route. But she had fun! Anyhow, later the Fluhrer's came for our traditional 4th BBQ with the blow-up Bonzaii Pirate ship. At one point it became deflated with Izabella & Carson at the top of the slide. There was panic and laughter as they sunk into the bottom of the ship!It all ended with late-night fireworks with the neighbors of VIA LA COSTA and S'mores at the Reeds firepit---or should I say Bonfire!!!! They were burning actual furniture which produced a lovely FLAME OF FIRE!!! Happy 4th everyone--Let Freedom Ring!
