Yep, this was pretty much our Summer Vacation! Trent had the day off on Monday and we decided to head up to Pineview. The water was HIGH!!!!! Luckily our spot under the tree was available and the water was a mere 3 feet from our blanket. There were HUGE gross carp that came within 2 feet of the shore. It was a BEAUTIFUL day and after much struggling and a prayer, then another prayer---Carson was a trooper and actually enjoyed a lot of it. We ate tons of snacks, rowed the raft, tried to take a picture of the gross carp which looks like a shadow in the water, and enjoyed the outdoors.Carson decided it was much more fun to turn the raft over and float. Eventually he felt like he needed to see what this "rowing thing" was all about. Izabella was great at rowing and brought us to shore many times! We lasted from 9am-12:15---another Christmas Miracle! hee hee
